NEWS
12.14.16 - Hey folks! Long time no see! We have several up dates incase you haven't been following our facebook/twitter/Instagram feeds. Back in September we began work on our second full length lp at Secret Stash Records Studios in Minneapolis. We are getting very close to finishing it, with about 75-80% of the recording done, we still have some major parts to lay down. It's taking a bit of time, but we feel we are working harder on this project than any other prior and that the amount of time and care we are putting into it will produce the best possible record we can deliver, and that makes us very excited to share it with you. Follow us on facebook, twitter and Instagram for all the latest on the album's progress and pics and videos from the sessions!
We also have a few shows lined up over the next month. Our last show of 2016 will be held in Stillwater on December 23rd at Lift Bridge Brewery for our annual Steam-Hand Meatroller Holiday extravaganza! This is always a highlight of the year for us and we're really looking forward to closing out our great year with another fun-filled, holiday sweater-wearing evening! Let's celebrate everyone... and beer! LOTS of BEER! And finally, we will be playing with our friends TABAH as we return to Winona for our first show of 2017 at Ed's No Name Bar on January 14th. It's gonna be a crazy-fun night!
Have a good holiday season everyone! - Ruben

We honestly couldn't be more excited to be apart of this line up. Two stages, six acts. Get tickets early HERE for $5 or for $10 at the door. Can't wait to be back at our home away from home. See you there!
8.15.16 - Hola, Amigos! Been a minute since we've last updated our website, but we figured we should now that we got some actual news to send your way. Next bit of news is that we've finally flushed out most of the major details and we will be headed into the studio next month to begin tracking our 2nd (or 3rd, depending on how you look at it) full length album. We've been working for years on these songs and are very excited to finally get them on tape, so-to-speak. This means we will be playing less shows for the duration of recording, so that's why we want people to come out August 19th and help us pack the Aster. Until that time, however, we will be doing some pretty cool stuff like playing festivals, driving down to Nashville and releasing a 45. We are heading into the studio on May 31st to record a new single which will be exclusively available on a 7" vinyl. We are currently in the midst of rehearsals for said studio time and we will be posting visual updates as frequently as necessary. 3.5.15 - Big news comes from the Ruben camp this week! We just finalized the details to record our first vinyl record which we will be recording in NASHVILLE! We are elated about this new venture we are embarking on, as we are recording it straight to a vinyl lacquer at one of the only studios in the world capable of doing it: "Welcome to 1979". The 45rpm record will be recorded entirely live meaning no overdubs, no fixes and all the mistakes. We will have copies available this summer as a limited edition so get yours while you can. Aside from the record, we will also be doing a short tour on our way down visiting some new cities and hopefully making some new friends along the way.

Also we would like to thank all the new friends and fans we made this past winter, we have had a great time playing all around Minnesota and Wisconsin and can't wait to continue doing so. Our next local show will be at the 7th Street Entry on Tuesday, March 24th with our new found pals Desert Noises (Utah) and Santah (Chicago). 11.24.14 - We've had an amazing past few weeks. We played to a packed house at the Red Herring in Duluth last Friday, it was so much fun and just makes us want to return as soon as possible (and we might be very soon!). Also, this week we spent some time on the road, where we just got back from playing in Iowa, and at our Daytrotter session in Rock Island, IL. Daytrotter was incredible and it gave us an opportunity to record a live version of some brand new songs so we can get you all some new material while you wait for our next album to be released.

We have a show coming up this Friday at the 331 Club in Northeast Minneapolis, it's gonna be so much fun and we hope we can see your beautiful selves there! Take care and have a Happy Thanksgiving!

11.18.14 - The work and hustle never stops, and we're gonna keep pushing on. This week is busy for us, lots of music to be played. Wednesday night will find us in Burlington, IA at The Washington, it's our first time in Burlington and we are way excited, ready to show them some Minnesota rock n roll! The day after we are slated to record a session in Rock Island, IL at the Daytrotter studios. We could not be more excited for this opportunity, we always considered it almost a rite of passage for a band, and it will help open our music to a much broader audience, which is all a band can ever hope for. Once it's ready, we'll be the first to let you know! We are currently getting songs ready for our next record which we are getting ready to record at the begining of next year, keep your ears peeled for more details...

7.21.14 - We had a great time this weekend at Stillwater Log Jam. We got put on a two day bill with two of our favorite local acts: Sonny Knight and the Lakers and the Cactus Blossoms, both showed Stillwater a really good time! Right now we are gearing up for a busy August. Our next local show will be at the Loring Pasta Bar on July 31st with the Dirt Road Ramblers, a great country band from right here in the twin cities. After that we are back on the festival circuit, and hitting the road for a three day mini tour of sorts. August 7th & 8th we will be playing multiple shows at the Mile Of Music festival in Appleton, WI which was founded by Appleton's native son Cory Chisel, and we are beyond excited. Lots of great bands are billed to play that weekend, including some friends so it will be a great time for everyone concerned. After that we come back to Minnesota to return for another hometown show at the Square Lake Music Festival on August 9th, where we'll be joined by Carroll, Frankie Lee, Anonymous Choir and the always amazing Low. Tickets are on sale for both events. http://mileofmusic.com/
